The regiment suffered 38 mean killed and 94 mean wounded at the siege of Badajoz in March/April 1812. Donald was wounded at the battle of Salamanca July 1812 for which he received a pension. The regiment having 3 men killed and 23 wounded. Pensioned 29.6.1832 and died at Aberdeen his place of residence.
